Who selects the nominees and winners?
A special jury consisting of more than 100 gaming media from all over the world, including cybersports resources and Influencers, is responsible for this. In October, the press nominates their favourite games, and in mid-November, user voting opens on The Game Awards website. Winners are determined by a mixed vote among the jury (with a 90% weighting) and the audience (with a 10% weighting).
