What’s good? A reimagining of the old series about the screaming demigod Kratos, who takes revenge on all the Gods in general. The new Kratos is kind of different: quietly raising his son and just lost his beloved wife. But if you hinder the hero on his path, he will once again become that brutal invincible warrior who will smear anyone.

Who deserved to win more? Without a doubt, God of War is the best game of the year, if we focus solely on gameplay. It’s fierce and well thought out: chopping up enemies is always fun, and the weapons are a delight!

But games from the 2010s onwards are not just about gameplay. They are about narrative, dialogues, written characters, acting. They are about visual merits: quality of textures, lighting, realistic weather effects. About the music and the thousands of different sounds that make us believe in the reality of that world. And in these respects Red Dead Redemption 2 had no competitors.
